We spent some quality time with Weifer in Kuala Lumpur. I came down with a mild case of H1N1 the minute we landed. We must not have been great house guests: I was coughing, sneezing, blowing my nose all week and Amar was holed up in a coffee shop most days studying for his exam. But nevertheless, we had a great time. Wei introduced Amar to the wonders of roti canai and me to the miracle that are charcoal tablets.

feeding elephants at the elephant sanctuary outside of KL. There was a group of smart ass little boys next to us throwing junk food wrappers and peanuts at an elephant. We applauded when the same elephant gathered up a heap of dirt with his trunk and flung it at the group of boys.
